Elmer David Edwards ‘D.E.’ passed away at his home on February 4, 2019. Dave was born November 5, 1950 to the late Elmer Edwards and the Alice (Bowen). In addition to his parents Dave is preceded in death by his 3 sisters and 1 brother.
He leaves behind a loving wife of 42 years Mary(Ostendorf). Survivors include 3 brothers and 3 sisters, 7 children, 28 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Dave served in the Army 1969-1972.
He made his career in auto mechanics and retiring from Gramma’s Pizza as a delivery driver. Dave loved spending his time with family, especially being the cornhole champ at family functions.
Dave will always be loved and remembered by his friends and family… Until we meet again.
Services were held at Landmark Baptist Church in Amelia on Saturday, February 16, 2019.
