On June 17, 2018 at 5:23 P.M. the Clermont County Communications Center received a 911 call in regards to a 41 year old–female who had been stabbed multiple times by a known female subject in the 100 block of Bay Meadow Dr. in Batavia Township.

Road Patrol Deputies arrived on scene within minutes of the call and apprehended the suspect, Jessica Lewis, age 28 of Cincinnati.

The victim was transported to University Hospital by ambulance for the serious injuries sustained in the attack.

She is currently in stable condition and being treated for her injuries sustained in the attack.

The victim’s name is not being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation and safety concerns.

Members of the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Unit responded for the investigation and to process the scene.

After interviewing witnesses at the scene, it appears the attack was unprovoked by the victim.

Jessica Lewis has been charged with Felonious Assault, a felony of the second degree.

Lewis appeared for a bond hearing at 10:00 A.M. on Monday June 18, 2018 at Clermont County Municipal Court.

The case will be reviewed with the Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of additional charges to be presented to a Grand Jury.
