On June 5, 2018, at approximately 9:22 a.m., Union Township Police Dispatch received a call for an alarm drop at a residence on Glenridge Dr.

Upon the officers arrival, they discovered that the resident of the address in question had been the victim of a possible home invasion and had been assaulted during the course of the incident.

The suspects had fled the scene prior to officers arriving and the suspects were at large for at least two days.

The victim was transported to a local hospital due to injuries sustained as a result of the incident.

Suspects were later identified and arrests were made on June 7, 2018, of Jeremy Downing of Warren County and Randy Napier of Union Township.

Mr. Downing was charged with 1 count each of Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Burglary and Felonious Assault.

Mr. Napier was charged with one count of Complicity to Aggravated Robbery. Both subjects were incarcerated in the Clermont County Jail.

The investigation is still ongoing, according to Lieutenant Anthony Rees.
