The Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that occurred on Interstate 275 in Miami Township in Clermont County.
The fatal single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 8:41 a.m. on June 4, 2018.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Ericka A. Maestas, age 46, of Loveland, who was operating a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer while going east on Interstate 275, lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle traveled off of the left side of the roadway into the median and back onto the roadway, where it then overturned. Maestas was ejected from the vehicle.
Maestas was transported by Miami Township EMS to Bethesda North Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Police said Maestas was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
