CNE focused on preparedness with training by the Children’s Hospital to ‘stop the bleeding’

On May 23, 2018 Clermont Northeastern Schools hosted Stop the Bleed Cincinnati. Led by Richard A. Falcone, Jr, MD, MPH Associate Chief of Staff, Surgical Services Director, Trauma Services at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Dr. Falcone brought an elite team of trainers from UC Health and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. All staff at Clermont Northeastern were given direct training on how to properly apply a tourniquet as well as how to properly pack a deep wound.

The training focused on educating staff on how to react during the time it takes before first responders arrive on the scene.

“Our staff are always receptive to additional training on how to best care for the schools most precious assets.” stated Mr. Glassmeyer CNE High School Principal.

“We are honored and excited to receive first-hand training from the best in the country!” Mike Brandt Superintendent CNE
