On April 14, 2018, the Sycamore DAR Chapter welcomed Joe Rich and Victor Vick, who presented an interesting program on the Civil War.
Displaying their authentic weapons collection and an antique saddle, they shared information and accounts focusing on the Calvary Unit.
One felt they were listening to the experiences of Union and Confederate soldiers since the two gentleman have participated in several reenactments enduring the same harsh conditions our ancestors who served faced. Their patriotism was evident as they spoke of this important era in our nation’s history.
