From New Richmond to U.S. Marine

PFC Zackary Marck

Thomas E. and Lori Marck of New Richmond are proud to announce that their son PFC Zackary Marck had what it took to fill the boots of a United States Marine.

PFC Marck was recruited in August 2016 by US Marine Corps Recruiting Eastgate, where he was a Poolee until he shipped out in August 2017.

PFC Marck endured 13 weeks of boot camp at MCRD Parris Island in South Carolina.

PFC Marck then graduated on November 17, 2017 from Alpha Co PLT 1081 as Rifle Expert and completed all qualifications.

PFC Marck then completed his MCT at Camp Geiger in North Carolina.

PFC Marck has currently started his MOS at NAS Pensacola in Florida.

PFC Marck will then proceed with more schooling to complete his MOS in Aviation at Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas.

PFC Marck is a 2017 Summa Cum Laude Honor graduate of Grant Career Center Criminal Justice Program, as well as a member of the NTHS, and a 2017 graduate from New Richmond High School.

PFC Marck is the Grandson of Danny and Lois Freeman, Lenda Hoskins, and Thomas N. the III and Catherine Marck.

Additionally, PFC Marck is also the Great Grandson of John and Allene Benjamin, Thomas N. the II and Patricia Marck, Edgar and Lillie Hoskins, and Clyde, and the late Doris Freeman.
