Mercy Health’s Wound Care centers wins national award

Mercy Health – Cincinnati, which provides advanced, compassionate, quality care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that Clermont Hospital, Fairfield Hospital, West Hospital and The Jewish Hospital received national awards for exceptional wound care from Healogics.

Clermont Hospital and The Jewish Hospital received the Robert A. Warriner, III Center of Excellence 2017 awards. To earn this honor, centers must achieve outstanding clinical outcomes for 24 consecutive months, including patient satisfaction rates higher than 92 percent and a healing rate of 91 percent in less than 31 median days.

Fairfield Hospital and West Hospital received the Center for Distinction 2017 awards. Centers must achieve outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 consecutive months, including patient satisfaction higher than 92 percent and a wound healing rate of at least 91 percent in less than 31 median days to receive this award.

“With an average healing rate of 94 percent, Mercy Health’s Wound Care Centers use the latest technology, research, hyperbaric medicine and individualized treatment plans to help patients heal chronic wounds,” said Mercy Health Physician Scott Sinner, MD, medical director of the Wound Care Center at Clermont Hospital.
