Women’s self-defense class coming to Union Township in April

The Union Township Police Department is now accepting applications for our 2018 Women’s Self Defense classes.

You can sign up for one of two classes, Saturday, April 7, and Saturday, April 21. Each class is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the gymnasium of the Union Township Civic Center. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older or 16 years of age or older if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

All participants must also sign a waiver prior to the class.

These classes are free of charge to the first 30 applicants for each class.

Should registration reach capacity, preference will be given to Union Township residents.
