On January 18, 2018, Felicity FFA members stepped up to volunteer at Ronald McDonald House in downtown Cincinnati, despite having the chance to enjoy a snow day.

Every year, the chapter serves lunch to families of children who are in need of intensive care at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center; something they do multiple times throughout the school year.

The first date that the chapter had scheduled, however, turned out to be a cold and snowy day.

It was a day where school was cancelled.

Even though they couldn’t go to school, some FFA members still came to the Ronald McDonald House to make and serve a lunch to the families who had to come so far to get the proper medical care for their child.

Three dedicated FFA members and five parents came to serve at Ronald McDonald House that day.

Felicity FFA is scheduled to serve six meals and two snacks this year to families of children who are in need.
