I just had a few thoughts on that topic of life and death: The pro-life position is easy to defend both on scientific and moral grounds.
The DNA of a newly fertilized egg (embryo) is unmistakably human.
On what grounds should it ever be legal to take the life of an innocent human being?
Regarding the so-called “pro-choice” position, I find it completely indefensible. On what other conditions do they accept the killing of an innocent human being? And what about the father of the child?
Does he get a voice in the decision to kill his baby? What about the child?
Who is supposed to speak for the child?
Does it really matter which end of the birth canal the baby is on?
