Christopher Beckman and AMC Dine-In Cincinnati 9 were presented with the 2017 “Employer of the Year” award at the Clermont Chamber of Commerce Breakfast on Friday, October 20. This award is sponsored each year by the Business Advisor Council of the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCDD) and is presented during one of the Clermont Chamber’s Business@Breakfast event series.
“We are honored to recognize Chris and AMC Dine-In Cincinnati 9 this year,” said Dan Ottke, CCDD Superintendent. “Chris and his staff take the time to recognize the strengths of those they employ and what they have to offer their community.”
AMC Dine-In Cincinnati 9 hires individuals from CCDD as well as other agencies that place individuals with special needs in community employment. All of their employees are treated with dignity and respect, and AMC provides extra support to those who might need it, at any given time. This encouragement assists each employee to get the most out of his or her career in the cinema industry.
Cody Blevins, an employee of AMC Dine-In Cincinnati 9, was placed in his job when AMC was Ovation Cinema and Grill. He has been in his job for almost one year and was present at the Clermont Chamber breakfast to help honor Beckman.
