Agnes Marie Hughes, age 92 formerly of Graysville, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at NHC Nursing Home in Hendersonville. Agnes was born in Owensville, Ohio on August 8, 1925 the daughter of the late Geniah and Velma (Schwartz) Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 71 years James R. Hughes, her son Phillip Hughes, a sister Virginia Ponchot and two brothers Clarence Brown and Geniah Brown.
Agnes was a longtime resident of Graysville and worked at Robinson Manufacturing as an inspector until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Phillip) Forsythe of Hendersonville, son Ronald (Kim) Hughes of Lakesite, six grandchildren, Christina Cornelius, Lauren Forsythe, Drew Forsythe, Brandon Hughes, Lori Dillingham, Casey Hughes, three great-grandchildren and a sister Elaine (Eddie) Harris of Owensville, OH.
Graveside services for Agnes were held Oct. 20 at 6:00 p.m. at Pleasantview Cemetery. She was laid to rest beside her husband with Rev. John Fields officiating.
