Peter Miller, Owner/General Manager of Jet’s Pizza, presented a $1,700 donation to the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCDD). The donation was from a fundraiser organized by Jet’s Pizza at the Milford and Anderson Township locations.
Miller is a board member with CCDD’s nonprofit board, Clermont DD Empowers Me, and created the fundraiser that ran May through August.
He wanted to give something back from both of his local restaurants, while helping CCDD with community outreach and awareness.
The donation will assist in funding CCDD’s Gift of Time Respite program and to purchase other adaptive equipment that might be needed by children and adults served by CCDD.
The presentation took place during CCDD’s 50th Anniversary Summer Celebration on August 19 at Batavia Township Community Park.
Superintendent Dan Ottke accepted the donation.
