The Clermont County Public Library has received an ArtSTART grant from the Ohio Arts Council. The grant award is $3,000 and the library will provide matching funds.

The money will be used to create artistically-, educationally- and culturally-rich programming for Clermont County residents.

Library programmers will work with a variety of artists and art organizations from the Greater Cincinnati area, including the Art Academy of Cincinnati, Flying Cloud Vintage Dance, Holly’s Harps and musical group Wild Carrot.

Watch the library’s website, clermontlibrary.org, for details.

The programs will begin this fall and run through June. Information also will be posted to the library’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

“We are pleased to be awarded the ArtSTART grant. Our patrons will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of arts programs presented at all 10 branch library locations,” said Christine Wick, library director. “These programs will be great opportunities to explore the visual arts, dance, music and theater. We look forward to sharing them with the community.”
