The Clermont Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the opening of Nominations for the annual Pacesetter Awards.

The Clermont Chamber of Commerce Pacesetter Awards Dinner recognizes outstanding companies and individuals for their hard work and their contribution to the county.

Pacesetter Awards will be held on November 9, 2017 at Oasis Conference Center.

“So much of the good that happens in our communities is through the good will and the caring of individuals and organizations to do things without pay, without expecting anything in return and just do it out of the goodness of their heart; and recognition is important,” said Clermont Chamber President/CEO Matt Van Sant.

Van Sant added, “He feels it means a lot to take the time to thank those who make a difference, describing the time they give as “remarkable.”

These recipients truly make a positive impact to those who live and work in the Clermont County. Award categories and qualifications are listed below:

The Edward J. Parish Pacesetter Award – An individual who has contributed to the economic vitality of Clermont County, who has a genuine concern for the welfare of Clermont County and its residents, and who has exhibited outstanding character, citizenship, and leadership. The Corporate Pacesetter Award – An organization that has displayed genuine concern for the welfare of Clermont County and its residents by exhibiting outstanding qualities of corporate citizenship and leadership.

The Martha Dorsey Award – A public servant (elected or non-elected) who has genuine concern for the welfare of Clermont County and has demonstrated outstanding leadership, character and citizenship.
