On Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, City Barbeque will provide a free sandwich platter to all military veterans and troops.

“Honoring the service of our veterans and active military is something that is very important to us,” said Rick Malir, CEO and founder of City Barbeque. “At City Barbeque, we can show appreciation by serving veterans a great BBQ meal—I encourage everyone to find a way to express a sincere thank you for the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of our veterans.”

Over the past two years, City Barbeque has proudly raised $25,000 for Resurrecting Lives, an organization devoted to getting vets with PTSD the help they need. In addition, the company has partnered with Mission 22 help raise awareness about veteran suicide. To learn more about these organizations, visit resurrectinglives.org and mission22.com.

All City Barbeque locations in Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Indiana, and North Carolina are participating in this year’s promotion. Every veteran or active-duty service member can receive one free sandwich platter for either dine-in or carryout orders. City Barbeque locations will be open 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Nov. 11.
