The Williamsburg Lady Wildcats are one step closer to accomplishing their goal of a perfect run through the Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference.

On Oct. 4, the team rolled to a 25-11, 25-12, 25-6 victory over the Georgetown Lady G-Men. That same night, Goshen defeated Batavia 25-21, 25-7, 25-16. Clermont Northeastern earned a close 25-20, 25-23, 25-18 win over Blanchester and Felicity-Franklin earned a 25-23, 25-23, 13-25, 25-20 win over Bethel-Tate. New Richmond continued their strong season with a 25-21, 27-25, 25-12 win over Amelia.

In the Eastern Cincinnati Conference, Milford fell to Turpin 25-15, 25-10, 25-17. Glen Este dropped a close five-set match to Kings 25-22, 25-18, 11-25, 20-25, 16-14.

Two local teams, Bethel-Tate and Clermont Northeastern, faced off against opponents on Oct. 5. Bethel-Tate dropped the first set to the Ripley Lady Jays 25-22, but won the next three 28-26, 25-17, 25-12 to win the match. Western Brown defeated CNE 25-21, 25-22, 18-25, 25-13.

On Oct. 6, the Lady Wildcats returned to their winning ways, defeating Blanchester 25-12, 25-7, 25-7. Western Brown defeated Batavia in straight sets, 25-23, 25-14, 25-22 and CNE earned a 25-15, 25-20, 25-19 win over Bethel-Tate.

New Richmond defeated Norwood 25-18, 25-18, 27-25. Goshen won the first set 25-18 but dropped the next three 25-15, 25-14, 25-18.

Milford and Glen Este both were victorious. Milford defeated Walnut Hills 25-21, 11-25, 25-19, 19-25, 15-13. Glen Este won their match against Withrow 25-6, 25-4, 25-6.

Milford returned to the court on Oct. 8 with a 3-1 loss to Lebanon 29-27, 20-25, 25-14, 25-21.

On Monday, Oct. 10, the Bethel-Tate Lady Tigers fell to Georgetown in three sets. Western Brown earned a 25-21, 25-14, 25-16 win over Goshen.

Several key contests dot the schedule on Thursday, Oct. 13. Williamsburg visits Bethel-Tate for a 6 p.m. start, while Western Brown at Amelia begins at 6:30. New Richmond visits Goshen, Clermont Norheastern at Felicity-Franklin. Both games begin at 6:30 p.m.

A pair of ECC contests, Milford at Withrow and Loveland at Glen Este, begin at 7 p.m.
