The Williamsburg Lady Wildcats had a very good week last week.

The team started off with an 8-0 victory over Felicity-Franklin on Oct. 4. That same day, Clermont Northeastern defeated Georgetown 2-0, Blanchester earned a 1-0 win over Bethel-Tate, and Amelia defeated Batavia 3-0. Goshen fell to Norwood 5-0, New Richmond blanked Western Brown 2-0 and in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference, Milford defeated Kings 3-1.

Glen Este was the only local squad in action on Oct. 5. they suffered a 4-0 loss to Loveland.

On Oct. 6, New Richmond defeated Goshen 5-0, Williamsburg knocked off the Bethel-Tate Lady Tigers 2-0, and CNE defeated Felicity 4-0. The win by the Lady Wildcats gave them a record of 6-1-3 on the season, setting up a virtual tie with Blanchester (5-0-5) for first in the National Division.

Elsewhere, Amelia defeated Western Brown 4-0 to remain close to New Richmond. The teams finished the regular season with identical 8-1-1 records.

A few teams took to the pitch on Oct. 8. Milford shut out Ursuline 3-0, Amelia defeated Harrison 7-0, and Batavia fell to Mariemont 4-0.

The Lady Barons continued their winning ways with a 1-0 win at Anderson on Oct. 10. That same night, Cincinnati Country Day defeated Williamsburg 8-1, CNE dropped Eastern 3-2, and Bethel-Tate blanked Fayetteville 4-0. Indian Hill earned a 4-0 victory over New Richmond.

Two teams now prepare for their final regular-season contest. Felicity-Franklin hosts Georgetown at 4 p.m. and Goshen visits Blanchester at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13.
