Attention local anglers: The Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCDD) will host a Catfishing Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 27 at East Fork State Park.
The event is sponsored by the Clermont DD Empowers Me nonprofit board and is set to begin at 9 a.m. on Aug. 27. The tournament will run through 9 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28.
Registration fees are $25 for adults, ages 16 and up; juveniles ages 16 and under will pay $13. There will be two classes for each age group: adults fishing from boat; adults fishing from bank; juveniles fishing from boat; juveniles fishing from bank.
Four winners will be announced every hour, based on the largest catfish caught in each class throughout the hour.
