SSCC Theatre presents Christopher Durang’s “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike,” playing at 7:30 p.m. on July 22 and 23, and at 3:30 p.m. on July 24 in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on Southern State Community College’s Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.

Middle-aged siblings Vanya (played by Bob Brown) and Sonia (Bronwyn Jones) share a home in Bucks County, Penn., where they bicker and complain about the circumstances of their lives. Suddenly, their movie-star sister, Masha (Leslie Holmes), swoops in with her new boy toy, Spike (Eric Silcott).

Old resentments flare up, eventually leading to threats to sell the house. Also on the scene are sassy maid Cassandra (Paula Campagna), who can predict the future, and a lovely young aspiring actress named Nina (Sierra Bachman), whose prettiness somewhat worries the imperious Masha.

The production team includes: Rainee Angles and Benjamin Gullett (directors) Rainee Angles and Abraham Martin (production design), Laura Martin (costumes) and Benjamin Gullett (public relations). Joshlin Lawson is the stage manager, with Micaela Countryman as the assistant stage manager and choreographer.

Fulfilling other crew positions are: Brent Angles, Charlotte Brown, Chase Coe, Callie Fryman, D.J. Griffith, Melissa Griffith, Madison Hatfield, Mark Holmes, Jenna Horick, Tina Kessinger, Abby Van Brocklin, and Brooklyn Wescott.
