On May 12 at approximately 3:35 p.m. Union Township Police Officers became involved in a vehicular pursuit, crossing multiple jurisdictions, initiated by Cincinnati Police Officers in Hamilton County.

The vehicle was stopped in the area of Broadwell Rd. in Hamilton County and the driver, Jeffrey Scott Abrams of Batavia, was subsequently arrested. Mr. Abrams was suspected of being involved in a string of purse snatchings and thefts in Union Township and had open warrants in Clermont and Warren Counties for the same at the time of his arrest.

Union Township Police Officers also came in contact with a female named Alison Shaye Jeffery of Batavia who was also suspected of being involved in the thefts in Union Township.

Both Mr. Abrams and Ms. Jeffery were charged with Robbery and were incarcerated in the Clermont County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing with the expectation that additional criminal charges are forthcoming.
