Clermont County Park District’s Summer Camp Programs provide wonderful opportunities for children of all ages to spend a week exploring nature, making new friends and learning.

Pre-K Summer Camp & Storytime Session 1 (Ages 3 ½ – 5 **Must be potty-trained and must be 3 years old by January 2016)

Time & Dates: 9:30 a.m. to noon June 13-17

Location: Sycamore Park

Fee: $50

Join us for a week of morning fun at Sycamore Park. Each day features a different “color” in nature! Pre-K campers will enjoy hikes, active games, crafts, songs and puppets.

River Camp #1 (Ages 6 -7)

River Camp #2 (Ages 8 – 10)

Time & Dates: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 27-July 1

Location: Chilo Lock #34 Park

Fee: $60

River campers will explore different aspects of the Ohio River and surrounding habitats. Become a Junior Biologist as you explore and test water quality through sampling and searching for elusive macroinvertebrates. Learn about the water cycle and the history of Chilo and the Ohio River through hands-on activities and fun games.

Outdoor Survival Camp (Ages 10 – 13)

Dates: July 18-July 20 Campout: July 21-July 22

Time: Mon -Wed 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Campout: Thurs- Fri 6 p.m. to 9 a.m.

Location: Chilo Lock #34 Park

Compass? Check! Hiking boots? Check! Shelter? Check! Outdoor survival skills? Check! Are you prepared for the wilderness? What about a zombie apocalypse? Join our naturalists for a weeklong adventure in the great outdoors! Survivalists will acquire important outdoor survival skills including how to read a compass and orienteer, build shelters, identify edible plants, set up a tent, fire building, knot-tying, and animal track and sign identification. On Thursday evening, campers will learn how to use their night vision during a night hike, test their skills by cooking their dinner over campfire, and sleep under the stars during our overnight campout.

All registrations must be received by 9 a.m. on the Friday before the camp starts.

All fees are used to improve parks and educational programs.
