Camdyn David King passed away at the young age of 7 on the morning of Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, after years of battling neuroblastoma. He was the cherished son of Robert Scott and Erin Renee (Harper) King. Camdyn was born October 5, 2008 in Ohio. His smile was contagious and his wit was quick. He had wisdom and a love for Jesus that was far beyond his brief seven years here on this earth. He attended The Crossing Church in Williamsburg, Ohio. He desired to be many things as a man, a racecar driver, a baseball player and a farmer, but the calling he wanted to achieve right now was that of a missionary.

In addition to his parents, Camdyn is survived by two sisters – RaeAnn King (10) and Gabriella King (7); one brother – Naaman King (5); and family friend, “Sissy Amanda” White (23); paternal grandparents – Homer and Carol Ann King of Hamersville, Ohio; maternal grandfather – Wayne Harper and wife Judy of Stout, Ohio; Aunt Michelle Harper of Cincinnati, Ohio; Uncle Brent Harper and Aunt Mary Harper of Stout, Ohio; Aunt Christy (King) Lukemire and Uncle Ron Lukemire of Cincinnati, Ohio; beloved cousins and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Patty Harper.

A Celebration of Life service was held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Eastside Christian Church, 5874 Montclair Blvd., Milford, Ohio 45150. Robert King will officiate. Doors opened at 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the church and there were opportunities to connect with organizations that are important to the family during the gathering or visitation time. Visitation took place immediately after the service until 2:00 P.M. Casual dress is appropriate for the service and many of Camdyn’s family members will be wearing his favorite colors: blue and green. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The King family partners with many different non-profit organizations to share the love of Jesus Christ.
