Lois I. James (nee Henry) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 20, 2016, aged 86. Lois was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobbie L. James and her son, Douglas James. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Edwards (James) and Patti Lang (James) and her sons, Mark, Steve, Michael and Scott James and her brother, Frank Henry of Washington Court House, Ohio. Lois was also blessed with 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Lois was dearly loved by her entire family and all who knew her. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday March 5 at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 West Main Street (St. Rt. 125) Amelia, Ohio. The funeral will follow with a procession to the Maple Grove Cemetery in Port William, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
