The Milford High School Athletic Department and the Milford Athletic Boosters Club announced the Milford Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee Class of 2016.

The Hall of Fame committee chose five people. They are: Chalee Thomas, Class of 1994 (volleyball and basketball); Andrea Tepe, Class of 2004 (cross-country, track and field); Kyle Rapp, Class of 2003 (soccer, basketball, baseball); Eric Lawson, Class of 2003 (football, baseball) and Justin Bradley, Class of 2003 (basketball).

Hall of Fame night is Friday, Feb. 5. Festivities will include a pre-induction reception and dinner for the new inductees, their families, friends and the current members of the Milford Hall of Fame.

Induction ceremonies will be in the Fley Center Gymnasium prior to the Milford boys varsity basketball game versus Kings High School.

Inductees will receive a plaque recognizing their athletic accomplishments from the Milford Athletic Boosters Club, as well as a lifetime pass to all Milford Athletic Department events.

A replica of the plaque will be placed in the Milford Athletic Hall of Fame located in the Fley Center lobby at Milford High School.

Stevens

Chalee Thomas Stevens

 

Steven’s accolades include: earned five varsity letters in volleyball and basketball; First Team All-GMC in volleyball (1993); Honorable Mention – All-GMC in basketball (1992-93); First Team All-GMC in basketball (1993-94); Honorable Mention – All-City in basketball (1993-94); selected for the Ohio North-South All-Star basketball team (1994); member of Milford girls basketball state final four team (1992-93); attended Capital University on a basketball scholarship; member of the undefeated (33-0) Capital University’s Division III National Championship basketball team (1995); member of the first women’s team to be inducted into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame; inducted into Capital University Basketball Hall of Fame (2014).

Tepe

Andrea Tepe

 

Tepe’s accolades include: earned six varsity letters in cross country and track & field; GMC 300m hurdles champion (2004); four-time regional qualifier in the 300m hurdles (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004); state qualifier in the 300m hurdles (2004); MHS record holder in the 300m hurdles; attended Miami University on a track scholarship; Miami University record holder in the 4 X 400m Indoor; NCAA Mideast regional qualifier – 400m hurdles; Director of Track & Field Operations – Louisiana State University and University of Akron.

Rapp

Kyle Rapp

Rapp’s accolades include: Earned eight varsity letters in soccer, basketball and baseball; two-time First Team All-GMC in baseball (2002, 2003); two-time Second Team all-GMC in soccer (2001, 2002); two-time First Team All-City in baseball (2002, 2003); two-time member of state runner-up baseball team (2002, 2003); first in school history in career at bats, hits, doubles, runs scored at the time of his graduation; second in school history in career triples at the time of his graduation; attended Wabash Valley Community College (two years) on a baseball scholarship; attended the University of Cincinnati (two years) on a baseball scholarship; drafted twice by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Eric Lawson

Lawson’s accolade include: earned eight varsity letters in football and baseball; two-time First Team All-GMC in baseball (2002, 2003); two-time First Team All-City in baseball (2002, 2003); Cincinnati Enquirer Player of the Year in baseball (2003); Second Team All-Ohio in baseball (2003); First Team All-Ohio Punter (2001); two-time member of state runner-up baseball team (2002, 2003); first in school history career batting average and RBI at the time of his graduation; second in school history in career hits, doubles, triples, home runs and slugging percentage at the time of his graduation; first in school history in games played, batting average, hits, RBI, runs scored and total bases in a season at the time of his graduation (2003); attended Bowling Green State University on a baseball scholarship.

Justin Bradley

Bradley’s accolades include: earned four varsity letters in basketball; First Team All-GMC in basketball (2002-03); Second Team All-GMC in basketball (2001-02); Honorable Mention – All Southwest Ohio in basketball (2002-03); Led GMC in scoring with a 19.1 average and 401 points (2002-03); first all-time in career scoring with 899 points at the time of his graduation; third all-time in career blocks with 100 at the time of his graduation; played basketball at Wooster College.
