Miami Township is welcoming a business that will fill a niche on the east side of Cincinnati.

Township Administrator Laurence Fronk announced that Scene75 will be opening a second location in the township at the Feb. 17 Trustees meeting.

Scene75 is one of the largest indoor entertainment centers in the county, according to the website. The current location, in Dayton, offers a restaurant, bars, electric go-kart tracks, a gaming theater, laser tag, bumper cars, mini-bowling and more.

Scene75 will be moving into a vacant building formerly occupied by Kmart, Fronk said. Kmart left the location on old business 28 with a year or two left to pay on their lease, and the location has been available for five or six years now.

“I see this as a catalyst to bring more businesses in the area,” Fronk said. Having Scene75 in that area is increasing other business’s interest in that area that otherwise would not have been interested.

The Scene75 Dayton location brings in about 500,000 people a year, Fronk said.

Scene75 is hoping to open on July 2 because the Dayton location opened on July 2, Fronk said. However, the business may not be ready in time.

Fronk is looking forward to having Scene75 in the community. It appears to be a community-oriented business, he said.
