During the past year over one thousand citizens from throughout Clermont County attended community conversations, participated in priority workshops, and completed online surveys to help create an Agenda for the Future of Clermont County.

The results of this work will be shared at a special Call to Action luncheon to be held from 11:30 to 1:00 on Friday, January 16 at the Eastgate Holiday Inn & Suites.

Clermont Agenda for the Futures overarching goal is to look at economic development and quality of life issues and adjust priorities accordingly for the future of Clermont County.

Dave Gooch, Agenda for the Future Chairman, will share how you can be a part of the implementation process.

“Our four core values will underscore all that we do during 2015,” Gooch said.

These include: balancing growth and development with a rural, small-town feel, making Clermont a great place for every phase of life, being productive citizens and community members, and preserving and promoting our historic and natural assets.

The Call to Action luncheon will also feature special guest, Roy Williams, President of the Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce.

Roy will share the story of how Oklahoma City implemented the Metropolitan Area Projects initiative.

This dramatically improving economic development and the quality of life for the residents of Oklahoma City.
