“Catholic Charities served more than 75,000 of the most vulnerable people in our community last year, but the need is even greater,” said CEO Ted Bergh. “We’re looking to Kelly to help build broader awareness for our services so we gain more referrals for family services like Incredible Years. This national program teaches emotional and coping skills to young, at-risk children.”
The non-profit agency serves the social justice mission of the Church by serving the most vulnerable members of the community with family and senior services, mental health counseling, refugee resettlement and disaster relief. The agency also operates Su Casa Hispanic Center in Cincinnati and the Second Harvest Food Bank in Springfield.
Anchrum, who began her career as a reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer, brings more than 20 years of marketing communications experience from Procter & Gamble to Catholic Charities. She graduated from Milford High School and earned a B.A. in Journalism from The Ohio State University. She resides in Mason, Ohio.
