Pierce Township residents and the general public are invited to a community planning meeting to continue development on Pierce 2020, the Township’s plan for the future.

The meeting will be held at at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug 27 at the Pierce Township Administration Building, 950 Locust Corner Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45245.

This step of Pierce 2020 is led by Trustee Bob Pautke with guidance from resident George Carpenter, a retired Procter & Gamble executive with experience in the Objective, Goals, Strategy and Measures (OGSM) planning process.

“The OGSM process is a proven corporate tool,” said Mr. Carpenter, “that when applied to our community can be a roadmap in future planning and measuring performance in Pierce.”

Critical elements of the plan include: sustainable financial health, a culture of measurement and continuous improvement, and a recreation, parks and green space master plan.

“We have a vision to balance desired growth and development with our rural, small-town feel, while preserving and promoting our historic and natural assets,” Trustee Pautke said.
