Join Dean Greg Sojka, the Clermont College Earth Day Committee along with Cincinnati’s Taking Root Initiative in planting 40, four to six-foot-tall trees to enhance the Clermont College Campus. The campus lost more than100 trees due to the Emerald Ash Borer insect in the last couple of years.
Volunteers should meet at the flagpole at 1 p.m. – rain or shine. The Earth Day committee will be giving seedlings to all volunteers while they last.
Earth Day celebrations will include: Earth Day Fair, face painting booths, demonstrations and fun activities; Cincinnati Zoo bird shows and tree seedling give-away.
