Land Use in Clermont County – we all have an interest in how Ohio regulates land usage.

If you live in Clermont County, you may be especially interested. Because we are conservators for the future, development must be done with consideration of future effects on the land we bequeath to our offspring.

Not only do we need sewers, housing developments, and dumps, we are facing the installation of natural gas transmission lines right through the county. Ohio’s fracking boom needs to get gas to market. The gas industry has proposed that we host part of the pipeline it will use. It’s best we inform ourselves so the outcome is not a surprise.

To learn more, attend the Clermont County League of Women Voters meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22 at the Union Township Civic Center Queen City Room 4350 Aicholtz Road, Cincinnati, OH 45245.

As always keep in mind that the League is not just for women, it welcomes members of all sexes and genders.
