Felicity-Franklin FFA has once again made it to the top in the State Food Science and Technology Career Development Event.

For the third year in a row, Felicity has placed in the top five in the state among the 300 FFA chapters.

Team members Cheyenne Trammell, Mikayla Hamilton, Amanda Davenport, and Kirstyn McMullen placed 4th in the state event held at the Parker Food Science and Technology Building at the Ohio State University on Dec. 7, 2013.

The team earned their way to compete in the state event after winning the district competition on Nov. 21 at Felicity-Franklin High School. There were 12 schools from the district which covers southwest Ohio that competed. There were 11 Felicity FFA members on the district team including the 4 mentioned above. Other members included Casey Phillips, Gabie Cook, Austin Woodruff, Tia Louiso, Savannah Swader, Hannah Auxier and Kim Wilson.

The top 4 teams members advanced to the state competion.

The team will receive a banner at the spring banquet that will be placed on the wall of fame in the Agricultural Education room.
