A man was arrested and his brother was hospitalized after a stabbing at 116 East Walnut Street in Felicity Jan. 22.

According to a release from Sheriff A.J. “Tim” Rodenberg, a call about the incident was received at approximately 10:58 a.m.

The Felicity Police Department and the sheriff’s office patrol units were dispatched to the scene.

On their way to the house, patrol units encountered a man, Bobby Nipper, fleeing the area on foot.

Nipper was known by responding units to be related to the incident. He was was transported back to 116 East Walnut Street in Felicity, where it was discovered that he had been involved in a fight with his brother, Gary Nipper, 35.

Gary Nipper suffered from multiple puncture wounds to his back and said that his brother Bobby had stabbed him, according to the release.

Emergency Medical Service personnel from Franklin Township assisted Nipper until he was transported by AirCare to University Hospital.

Nipper is going through a series of tests and remains in stable condition.

Bobby Nipper was transported to Clermont County Jail and was charged with one count of felonious assault, a second-degree felony.

Nipper is scheduled to appear in Clermont County Municipal Court at 10 a.m. Jan. 23 for a bond hearing. The case will be reviewed by the prosecutor’s office for presentation to the Clermont County Grand Jury.
