Several lane closures and road closures will be coming up on state Route 32 in the Eastgate area as well as on state Route 232 as construction continues in those areas.

According the Ohio Department of Transportation, construction crews will be working on the Eastgate Boulevard bridge, which will require several lane closures on eastbound and westbound state Route 32 Sept. 29-Oct. 3.

Beginning Sept. 29, eastbound SR 32 will be closed from Old State Route 74 to Gleneste Withamsville Road from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Oct. 1.

Access to Interstate 275 from eastbound SR 32 will be maintained, but there will be no access to eastbound SR 32 beyond the interstate.

Both ramps from Interstate 275 to eastbound SR 32 will also be closed from 10 p.m. Sept. 29  to 6 a.m. Oct. 1 Traffic will be detoured to the westbound SR 32 ramps to Old SR 74 to Gleneste Withamsville Road.

October 2-3, single lane closures will begin on westbound SR 32 near the bridge.

Both days, westbound SR 32 will be closed from Gleneste Withamsville Road to Old SR 74 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Access to Interstate 275 will be maintained by way of Gleneste Withamsville Road to Old SR 74.

The ramp from North Access Road to SR 32 will also be closed Oct. 2-3 with traffic detoured to Gleneste Withamsville Road to Old SR 74 to westbound SR 32.

Arrow boards and signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane and full closures.

According to ODOT, culvert replacement will require state Route 232 to be closed Sept. 30-Oct. 2.

The road will be closed approximately 200 feet north of state Route 756 beginning at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 30.

A detour for eastbound traffic will be east on SR 756 to north SR 222 back to SR 232. Westbound traffic will use the same detour in reverse.

The detour is an additional three miles and approximately five minutes.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to notify motorists.

This week, road closures also continue on U.S. 50.

According to ODOT, U.S. 50 will be closed for culvert replacement between state Route 222 and state Route 132 approximately 3,500 feet west of Benton Road.

The closures will begin 7 a.m. Sept. 23 and will end at 3 p.m. Sept. 27.

The detour for eastbound U.S. 50 traffic will be south on SR 222 to north on SR 132 and back to U.S. 50. Westbound traffic will use the same detour in reverse.

The detour is an additional four miles and approximately six minutes.
