Mercy Health, which provides quality care with compassion in your neighborhood through its network of care, announces that the Guild of Mercy Health – Anderson Hospital gave the hospital a significant donation.
The Mercy Health – Anderson Hospital Guild, which has raised funds for the hospital for more than 30 years, donated $120,000 for charitable care and capital purchases that will help the hospital continue delivering top quality care to the patients it serves.
“On behalf of everyone at Mercy Health – Anderson Hospital, I thank the members of the Guild for their tireless efforts to ensure we are able to provide the compassionate, quality care that is our hallmark,” said Jeff Graham, East Market Leader and President for Mercy Health. “The Guild’s commitment to us has benefitted not only our hospital but also our community and many patients who are now well thanks to the Guild’s ongoing generosity.”
The hospital will use to funds to purchase an EEG machine, neonatal incubator, two operating tables for the obstetrics operating rooms, a vein viewer, wheelchair accessible scale for the same day surgery unit, two pacemakers for the intensive care unit and more.
A portion of the donation went to the McAuley Health Center outreach program, which provides basic healthcare and referrals to other community providers for indigent patients who are without insurance or other necessities.
