The Williamsburg Garden Club will meet on Tuesday evening, Aug. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Sherri Kissinger for their annual pot luck picnic. Co-ostesses for the evening are Julie Hess and Kristin Kissinger.

Members are to bring a covered dish to share.

Members are to respond to roll call by answering the question “Did you press your first flowers from that special someone?”

The program for the evening will be a slide show of the club’s July Garden and Home Tour. Plans will also be discussed for the 2013/14 calendar year. Members are to bring a bud vase of flowers from their garden to be used as a table decoration.

The recent Home and Garden Tour was a great success and the club would like to thank all those who attended and participated in the Tour. The club recently published a new cookbook featuring 300 favorite recipes. The cookbook is available for sale for $15 from members.

The club’s annual mum sale will begin on Friday, August 16th and will continue every Friday and Saturday through Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the corner of St. Rt. 32 and McKeever Roads. New members are welcome and information about membership and club activities can be found on FaceBook or by calling (513) 724-3657.
