Union Township Trustees approved a resolution to execute a contract for cleaning services for at the Union Township Police Department during their June 27 meeting.

Administrator Ken Geis said the company, Anago Cleaning Services, is the same company that currently cleans the Union Township Civic Center.

“At the beginning of the year we looked at beginning a cleaning service for the civic center,” Geis said. “That has been an incredible cost savings and has worked well.”

Geis recommended that trustees allow the company to clean the police department.

“It looks like they are doing a good job,” Trustee Robert McGee said about the services.

Trustees approved the contract for additional cleaning services at the Union Township Police Station.
