The village of New Richmond will have several activities going on fourth of July weekend this year.

Ralph Shepherd, an event coordinator for the village, said the annual Fourth of July Parade will take place at 11 a.m. July 4. The parade will be on Front Street in the village.

Shepherd said parade participants will line up at 10 a.m. at Festival Park, except for veterans, who will line up on Front Street across from the Plum Street playground. Fire Trucks and EMS units are also asked to line up at Plum Street Park.

He said veterans will be honored after the parade at the bandstand.

In addition, Shepherd said they will be having fireworks on the Fourth of July. He said the fireworks will begin at 10 p.m.

Shepherd said they will be having several concerts at the bandstand before and after the Fourth of July.

The Greenhills American Legion will be playing at 7:30 p.m. July 1, and the God and Country Concert will be held at 7 p.m. July 5.
