Chip Hart, co-owner of Hart Productions with wife Vicki, has been awarded the Batavia Property Improvement Award for the month of May. Hart has completely remodeled his office building on Main Street in Batavia.

Hart’s business had been located on North Second Street for four years before an opening on Main Street allowed him to move. After moving in a little over a year ago, Hart took a few months to work on his new building.

“We did a complete interior renovation on both floors,” Hart said. “We removed walls, opened up the space, put in new carpet and painted.”

Hart also had the exterior of the building painted and new window boxes installed.

Hart Productions has been owned by the Hart family for 57 years. The company produces consumer trade shows in Cincinnati, such as the Home and Gardens Show, Sports and Boat Show, and the Cincinnati Golf Show, among others. At these shows, vendors purchase exhibit space and sell their products directly to customers.

“We moved to Bethel eight years ago and fell in love with Main Street Batavia,” Hart said. “It’s a great place for our business.”
