Timothy Ray Meece, 53, of Batavia, died May 10.
He worked in the automotive field for the last years of his life. He sang with The Gospel Messengers and preached whenever he got the opportunity.
Meece was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Meece.
He is survived by wife Paula Meece, mother Clyva Meece, siblings James (Debbie) Meece, Tom (Linda) Meece, Steve Meece, and Melinda (Paul) Grimes, parents-in-law Robert and Shirley McKinney, brother-in-law Michael McKinney, nieces and nephews Melissa, Amanda, Elisabeth, Jessica, Haley, Simaya, Jenna, Sophie, Macy, Josh, Matt, Zach, Blake, Bryston, and Maddox, and other family and friends.
Visitation from 6-8 p.m. May 15 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia. Funeral services held at 11 a.m. May 16, also at funeral home. Interment at Batavia Union Cemetery.
