Henderson
Mildred H. Henderson, 88, of Milford, has died.

Henderson loved to play bridge and do needlepoint. She lived overseas in several exotic countries, and traveled extensively. Her most memorable trip was to Africa in October 1988, where she studied and observed the great silverback gorillas near Rwanda, which made a lasting impression on her.

She was preceded in death by husband Hugh Henderson and great-grandchild Hayden Wonnacott.

Henderson is survived by children Corliss (Harry) Kendrick, Sibyl (Thomas) White, and Betty (Al) Cernohous, grandchildren Robert Kendrick, Carolyn Kendrick-Alcantara, Amanda Wonnacott, Adrienne White, Laura Williamson, and Bryan Biazzo, great-grandchildren Tyler and Braeden Kendrick, Taiya, Devon, and Hudson Wonnacott, and other family and friends.

Visitation at 10 a.m. May 9 at Milford First United Methodist Church, followed by memorial service at 11 a.m. A reception at the church will follow the service.
