Frances Marie “Frannie” Eidson, 80, of Springfield, died Sept. 1 at Hospice of Dayton.
Eidson was raised from an early age by Ona Binkley and knew little about her birth parents. She worked at Keebler Company in Cincinnati. She was member of the Blessed Hope Baptist Church and was a former member of the Tri County Baptist Church in West Chester.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years Randall Martin Eidson, children Elaine (Cary) Cooley, Vicky Marie Scott, Lisa Lynn Richards and Troy Richards, step-sons Gregory Martin (Barb) Eidson and Randall Nathan Eidson, grandchildren Nicole Fink, Donnielle Detwiler, Candice Kraft, Megan Cohlen, Brandy Nicole Eidson, Shane Edward Eidson and Kaitlyn Marie Eidson, several great-grandchildren, sister Goldie Ann Smith, sister-in-law Jacqueline Bonner, nephew Gary (Connie) Bonner and nieces Carolyn (Rommond) McDonald and Joan (Steven) Hawkins.
She was preceded in death by grandsons Chris Colebank and Joshua Taylor Eidson, sister Pat and her birth parents Arnold and Ethel Gerling.
