The Union Township Board of Trustees has announced that The Clermont Philharmonic Orchestra will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at the Union Township Amphitheatre.

For this performance, the CPO will be led by Jaime Morales Matos, music director and conductor, and will spotlight all-time Philharmonic favorites.

The CPO was formed in 1997. The CPO and chamber players have performed many concerts at local schools and other social institutions. The CPO Pops has performed numerous outdoor summer concerts at various parks throughout Clermont County. Performances have included such international musical stars as Sandra Rivers, piano, Pip Clarke, violin, John Hendrickson, piano, and Alex DePue, the fiddler.

Union Township has long been a supporter of the CPO, as are the residents who enjoy their concerts each year.

The Union Township Amphitheatre is located in back of the Civic Center, 4350 Aicholtz Road. This is a free concert. Bring your families and friends and let the CPO entertain you with beautiful music.
