Ovid Greene, 95, of Wayne Township, died April 15 in Pleasant Plain.
Greene was a private first class in the United States Army during World War II. He was also a farmer.
He is survived by his wife Maude Davis Greene, children Nelson Greene, Linda Knight and Charolette (Ted) Lyttle, 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and sister Corkey Tedrick.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law James “Buck” Knight and six siblings.
Services at noon April 18 at Evans Funeral Home. Interment at Woodville Cemetery in Blanchester.
