“I’m very excited and looking forward to the job,” said the next BHS athletic director. “I want to continue the excellence of Batavia athletics and I want to thank Terry Sheehan for all of his help through this transition.

“I have a lot of good coaches to help me. I want to provide opportunities in sports for our students. . . I plan to continue to coach boys track.

“My biggest goal is to get more community involvement in our athletic program. I want to work with the boosters for increased support and involvement.

“I learned a lot from Terry Sheehan. Details like scheduling and hiring officials. . . I will always have a financial concern. I foresee changes in the future.
