Bethel Cub Scouts to hold their annual Quarter Auction. On Thursday, Sept. 1st, 2011. At St. Mary’s Church in Bethel from 6:30 – 9 p.m.

Come out and support local Cub Scouts in our annual Quarter Auction. This is an outstanding group of hard working boys who do their best to support and give back to their community.

This past year they have raised funds and collected food for the local food pantry at St. Mary’s, done several clean up projects for the schools as well as for the town of Bethel. They have also supported the Bethel American Legion Post 406 and local veterans, and done their part in selling Root beer floats which gave them the opportunity to help fund other local boy scouts to help them attend summer camp.

They are raising money to help off set cost of registration fees, camp outs and activities for this calendar year.

The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. There will be concessions as well as some outstanding baskets up for auction. Cash and carry items will be available to purchase as well.

Some items have been donated from Thirty One Bags, Morgie Porgie Ribbon Works, Scentsy Candles, TuTu Cuties, Avon, Longaberger, and many more. Stop in for your chance to win, and its all for a good cause.
