Members of the Lawn Crew from the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities were honored by the Batavia Township Trustees at their monthly meeting Aug. 2.

Four of the six crew members were in attendance.

“This crew takes care of three cemeteries in our township,” said Rex Parsons, Batavia Township Administrator. “They take great pride in their work, making sure the cemeteries are neatly mowed and cared for each week.”

Crew members were introduced to the audience by Tim Vogel, CCDD Work Services Coordinator. After each member was thanked for his role in the Lawn Crew initiative, the trustees presented special medals to each member. Staff from CCDD who supervise the crew were also recognized and received plaques from the trustees.
