A fatal crash occurred on state Route 756 in Franklin Township July 3, killing a Williamsburg man.

At approximately 9:55 p.m. a 1992 Toyota Camry went off the right side of the road just west of Bolender Road, according to Sgt. Matt Hamilton of the Batavia Post Patrol.

After exiting the road, the vehical went into a ditch and hit a utility pole and a tree.

The two other passengers in the vehicle included the driver, Travis Murphy, 19, of Bethel and another passenger, Michael Florence, 18, of Mt. Orab.

After the crash, Dotson was transported to Brown County Hospital by the Felicity Fire Department, where he was pronounced dead.

Sgt. Hamilton said there was no suspicion of alcohol use by the driver, and the Camry was the only vehicle involved.
