Williamsburg’s boys were the pacesetters in district track and field. The Wildcats were champions of the Division III meet that took place at New Richmond High School.

The New Richmond boys and the Williamsburg girls were second in their respective levels of district competitions.

Individually, in Division III Clayton Scheidler, Williamsburg junior, was a double winner for ‘Burg’s boys and Elizabeth Meisberger, Williamsburg sophomore, won two events for the girls.

Lauren Stacy, Bethel-Tate sophomore, won two Division II events.

Glen Este’s Michelle Thomas, a senior, was a double winner among the girls in Division I.

Boys

Among the boys, Williamsburg (Wms) was first among the 12 squads that scored with 147.5 points, Lockland was a very distant second with 100, Felicity (Fel) was 10th with 13 points.

The top four individuals in each event in each division qualified for this weekend’s regional meet taking place in Dayton.
